The Rolex GMT-Master II 16710 is the second generation of the GMT-Master II lineup, introduced in 1989 as the successor to the 16760—better known as the "Fat Lady." The "Fat Lady" earned its nickname due to its thicker case, which Rolex sought to refine. The result was the 16710, featuring a sleeker case without compromising functionality, which is something we love about the 16710.

Our GMT-Master II 16710 has an A-series serial, dating it to 1999, though it was officially sold in 2000. This means it features a Super-Luminova dial for excellent readability, solid end links that enhance durability, and a lug hole case that allows for easy bracelet changes while maintaining a vintage aesthetic.

What makes this example even more special is that it has undergone a service at Rolex, therefore this example also comes with Rolex Service Papers, therefore Rolex coverages this timeless piece until 2026. This means that wherever you are in the world, Rolex will take care of your timepiece.
