Rolex Lady Datejust Sodalite

The Lady-Datejust is one of Rolex’s most recognisable designs, but every now and then you come across an example that feels completely different from the usual. This particular example is exactly that.

The real highlight is the natural sodalite dial. Its deep blue colour, combined with the natural variations within the stone, gives the watch a character you simply don’t get from a standard Rolex dial. No two natural stone dials are ever exactly alike, making each example completely unique.

The dial is finished with diamond-set hour markers, adding just the right amount of sparkle without taking away from the beautiful depth of the sodalite. Usually the Lady Datejust precious metal ones come with a stone dial, but this Sodalite is only made in steel variations. Why? Look at it, how smoothly it blends with the white metal case. The best combination in our opinion.

And it’s not only the dial. The case and bracelet have also survived beautifully, making this a particularly complete and well-preserved example.
