There are few names in watchmaking that command the same respect as Vacheron Constantin. Heritage, classic and timeless. That's what makes this particular example so cool. It isn't something you would expect from the maison. The design of some watches immediately tells you they're special. This remarkable Vacheron Constantin does exactly that.

During the 70's and 80's, Vacheron Constantin explored some of its most creative jewellery designs, combining sculptural gold cases with extraordinary stone dials.

The first thing that catches your eye is the lapis lazuli dial, which isn’t surprising given the presence it gives the watch. Its deep blue colour shifts beautifully depending on the light, revealing different shades and patterns throughout.

Most of you probably already know, but lapis lazuli is a natural stone, meaning every cut is different. No two dials will ever be exactly alike, making each one unique in its own way. Then you notice the diamonds. A factory-set natural diamond bezel surrounding the dial, simply adding a touch of flair.

But perhaps the real craftsmanship lays in the 18k white gold woven bracelet with an intricate woven construction. It’s the kind of detail you might overlook at first, but once you notice it, it becomes one of the best parts of the watch.
